Derek Finnigan - Managing Director
Derek Joined Cemac Wellington back in 1985 as a Quantity Surveying Cadet. He transferred to Auckland to run the fitout team in 1987. In 1993 the opportunity arose to purchase the Auckland business from Carter Holt Harvey, and so along with business partner Owen Noonan the business became a privately owned company again. Derek has extensive Commercial Interiors experience. His non-adversarial approach to projects, helps ensure a team approach for all parties involved, and works on the belief that good relationships within a contract are the key to success.
Steve Woodhams – Contracts Manager
With 16 years experience in running his own residential and commercial construction and property development companies, Steve joined the Cemac team as Contract s Manager. Steve brings to the team a vast experience and knowledge of construction management, project management, contract administration and management, pre and post tender administration and management, as well as an emphasis on the deisgn management of projects.
Bronson Brown – Project Supervisor
After several years in the construction industry in South Africa, Bronson emigrated to New Zealand in 2008 and decided to try a new career path. Working as an account manager with a furniture company, Bronson found that he missed the construction industry and decided to return to project management. Bronson joined Cemac in early 2011 and is an integral part of our on site project management team.
Kelly Wybrew – Quantity Surveyor/Estimator
Kelly studied Industrial Design at university in her home state of South Australia. After travelling overseas for two years, basing herself in the UK, Kelly returned home and worked in banking while studying construction management. After several years working for a residential builder as an estimator, Kelly moved to NZ for her partner’s work in the wine industry, and joined Cemac in 2010 as our Quantity Surveyor/Estimator.
Mike Barlow - Access Flooring Sales
Mike has been with Cemac since 1996 and specialises solely in raised access flooring. Mike has sold, seismically designed, priced and managed computer room and access floor installations across New Zealand since that time. With an 18 year project management background in Interiors both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Michael adds a substantial and thorough knowledge of the people, pitfalls and processes involved within the industry.
