The accommodation options at Te Arai Links all share a luxuriously understated aesthetic and uncompromising build quality.

The structures, designed by Studio John Irving Architects, blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings so that the architecture feels that it belongs in this absolutely stunning environment. The interiors, by Jenni Kayne, combine beauty, functionality, and authenticity to create spaces that are calm, relaxing, and provide enduring comfort.

Architectural Design

“The buildings at Te Arai Links represent the design thinking of our practice – a desire to simplify and to belong in its place. The buildings are intended to merge into the landscape. The colour palette is one of weathered driftwood, sand and native vegetation, the forms are deliberately simple and humble.

The intention is that when you arrive at Te Arai Links, the architecture will not be shiny and new, but will feel that it belongs in this absolutely stunning environment, providing the backdrop to one of the most beautiful and natural golfing environments that New Zealand, and indeed the world, has to offer.”

Interior Design

The Jenni Kayne interior design aesthetic embodies an earthy and effortless approach – one that is intentional and where beauty, functionality and authenticity co-exist in every detail. A natural extension of this ethos are the Jenni Kayne interiors for Te Arai Links. Jenni draws upon her California heritage and seamlessly applies it to this New Zealand golf resort in a country where she spends a lot of time and has an enate fondness for the landscape and its people.

Jenni believes in a style philosophy that is rooted in classic details and enduring comfort. These timeless interiors showcase Jenni’s signature California-inspired aesthetic in perfect balance with its New Zealand characteristics.
